It’s easy to get bogged down in academic life at Ohio State–classes, articles, exams, readings, meetings, discussions, activities.
We are now a month into the Autumn 2014 semester, and I hope everyone will just take a breath and look around at the amazing place we call our home away from home, at the incredible people we get to hang out with every day, and at the incredible opportunities afforded us.
Last Saturday I was honored to join my former student Stacie Seger and some friends from Agriculture Communication for the football game against Kent State. Looking at the pageantry that is Ohio State football; the family-oriented multi-generational crowd from every background; the four versions of Script Ohio on the field, made me want to stop time.
It takes in a moment like that to remind us of the incredible opportunity we have here at Ohio State that too few get–to become something greater than ourselves.
