Wonder why @OhioState #journalism we learn how to use social media well? Because of jobs like this!

A portion of our Comm 2221 classes focus on using social media as a journalist, and using it in a way that will help you be and stay employable. And the reason we do that is because of opportunities like this, from the College of Social Work, which has open a student job for a Social Media Specialist.

The pay position would involve helping the college implement a strategy for social media, sharing stories about our faculty/community work, and writing brief feature articles for its website, which is being completely re-designed, with an anticipated launch of early September.

Technical skills including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, blog platforms, HootSuite, Google Analytics and other tools.
